yet another carb question

is this worth a look at? http://seattle.craigslist.org/pts/103879443.html I still havent rebuilt my carb yet. but right now I am at the cross road of trying to figure out to sell my truck or save it and try to fix it up over time. right now I think the holley 430 cfm spredbore carb I have now is taking a dive and it cant stay going at idle. and I am at a lost. Ive put in over a $1000 is the 2 years *wich really isent That much* only to get it runing to whatever it is at now. and thats no where near a smooth runing motor. I think the only thing this truck has going for it is the body. virturly no body rust. and only a couple dents. ugh I look at craigs list and I see 73/87 trucks with good motor or virturly brand new motors going for under a thou. ugh I hate the idea of selling her. shes my first car. P.s. russle if you still have that carb and if you think its still good pm me please
