VIN question
I have been looking at decoding my VIN this afternoon and I am stumped. I have looked at several web sites for decoding VIN's, and none tell me if I have a short bed or long. I know it is a shortbed, But is the vin supposed to tell me this. Am I reading it wrong. My VIN is KE148Z1XXXXX.

Re: VIN question
Vin dosen't tell yah if its long or short bed..the model number in the glove box..on the sticker tells yah.
What you got is a 4x4 eight cyl 1/2 ton, pickup,1968, built at fremont assembly plant..thats all you get from what I see there.
