Someone was selling them here, but I haven't seen them lately, and I know a couple people are looking for them. Greg

Yes Jake that is the point, if you option your truck out when it orginally wasn't then you can change the options list to include your updates, and make the truck more valuble. As far as I know there isn't a way to look up what your truck orginally was optioned with except for the options sticker.I"m not sure if this a bad thing as long as you put in what you made the options sticker say, then it's OK with me.

In Canada you can call GM vintage service and give them near $50 and if the truck was sold in Canada..they can give you a list off all the option it was ordered with. Worth it your trying to identify rare unique vehicles.

The guy I emailed said he got them from a friend that has been restoring these trucks for years, and the other guy has GM connections. Someone said "NOS is better", what's different between these 2 stickers...if the first one I listed is NOT NOS. How can you tell? Greg

Re: Glovebox options stickers on e-bay...not mine
There is a small difference in the color of the label itself, not really noticable unless you have them side by side. The NOS has a true royal blue color where the reprint looks to be a lighter shade of blue to me.Not knocking the reprint as it is exactly as original. my .02 Randy

Re: Glovebox options stickers on e-bay...not mine
Even if you revise the glovebox sticker with new information they are very difficult to "fake". The type font GM used is very hard to duplicate and so is the spacing between the letters. Most "redos" stick out like a sore thumb and are easily recognizable by people who know these trucks.

Re: Glovebox options stickers on e-bay...not mine
Anyone can buy these that has an L.M.C. catalog. They are not an original sticker that someone got lucky and found. They do look correct and yes, they would make it easy for someone to try to make a phony high option truck. It would be work to find all the correct option numbers as they did change depending on the year the truck was built. Also, where would you get a type writer that had the correct style letters.
