Since I had a choice between CST and Custom door insignia for my 68 when I threw down my money today I am going under the assumption that CST was a 68 option as well.

Are CST's all short wheel based? My option sheet isnt much different than yours other than the engine, colors, and yours has a tach.

Since you asked! (Now this is from the top of my head now.)
The difference between a CST and Custom 68 is: Deluxe vinyl bench seat, Carpet, Chrome pedal inserts and chrome bumper. Otherwise a CST had all the other Custom options.

CST could be ordered in either WB Usually fleets. It doen't say that step sides COULDN'T get the CST option I've never seen one though.
I have seen a few CAB/Chassis CST's

I have a 68 CST. It's a fleetside long bed. I too, have gotten a little confused when I see my door emblems or glove box emblem listed as a different year.
