91 5.7L 350 Longblock

This engine is out of a 91 GTA, it is said to have 160k on it. I was told it smoked when started but other than that it ran fine. This engine is a roller cam motor and put out 245HP in the G92 optioned cars. Asking $200 for the complete longblock. Oil pan to valve covers with damper and flywheel. Must be picked up in Nicholasville, KY 40356.

Re: 91 5.7L 350 Longblock

would love to have/get 8.1 with trans for my 99 burb. She is getting tired, all those trips west and that one from Kansas City you helped me with.
Plus sometime eary next year I want a 5.3 drive train for my 65 burb. I am back to work so i am saving up!
As far as a camaro, hmm.............my brother has a 70 1/2 SS 396 4 speed with air, he gave it to me 12 years ago and then 2 years ago took it back. He never did pay me what he owed me.
Ah, family and borrowed money!
Does me still having the title count?
Plus it's still in the family barn in MD.
65,000 miles with 2 spun rod bearings and a burnt up clutch.

Re: 91 5.7L 350 Longblock

It needs 1/4 panels and the panel between the trunk and rear window, floors and trunk pans are solid, plus completely gone thru.
It's been sitting for close to 20 years.
Between myself and 3 brothers we had a lot of stuff stashed in the old family barns. A few chevys , quite a few mopars and lots of engines.
To be honest, the stuff is worth keeping or rebuilding but it was definity used hard and put up wet. I worked at a hot rod gas station pumping gas along with 2 of my brothers. During the mid and late seventies, gas crunch, a lot of hot rod stuff was really cheap or given away. Plus I wrecked a few.
My oldest brother raced super stock and A/fx so, since I was his favorite, worked for free, I got his hand me downs.
Sometime in the next few years I am going to dig out the stuff. It is pulled in, stacked on, piled on top etc. almost to the roof. i can open the doors and look in, thats about it.
My brother and i raced motocross and super bike too, so all that crap is piled in there 2. When my father sold most of the farm we combined 4 smaller barns into the old dairy barn. It wasn't pretty but we replaced the roof with a metal one, no leaks.
What i want to get out is my 67 SS impala 427/390 4 speed and my brothers 68 Z/28.
Steve
