found my leak!

Ha! For the last week or so my truck has been running rougher than normal and it seemed like the idle was turned down when nothing had changed. Last night I went poking around under the hood and found my vacume line that goes from the carb to the air filter poped off. I plugged it back in and presto! Smooth running again. I wonder if that was what killed my MPG last week. Hmmmmm....

Re: found my leak!

If you had a problem and this fixed it then maybe you should check your vac hoses. They may be old dry and cracked. If so it would probably keep you from having this problem if you replace them.
