Re: Engine color

I've always liked a red engine, but it's hard to go wrong with Chevy Orange as well. My 81 Z28 came with the factory with a light blue engine though, and I always thought it looked strange on a small block.

They are chrome, bought them, washer bottle holder, upper and lower hood latch, park brake assembly, door hindges, and door latches all freshly chromed for $50 Canadian.

Thank's for the input, I'll likey make my choice when I'm standing in front of the paint section at the parts store.

Re: Engine color

Just off a guy that was starting a project and then bailed. I'm pretty sure he just had them chromed himself.

Thinking about a medium to dark grey, I think thay would look good, next motor will have aluminum heads also so it would even look better with them, and headers are getting ceramic coated.

Re: Engine color

Pink, inside and out on my Monza! Well... kind of rasberry pink. All depends on what your looking for. OE, custom, contrast, monochromatic?

Black, looks better with the shinys and helps with the heat. Orange comes in second, because its Chevy. MY .02 $.
