Lowering springs for C/10 & C/20????

I am looking at getting 3 inch front lowering springs for my C/20. Most of the places I have looked advertise for only the C/10s. Can I just get springs for a C/10 and put them on my C/20? Will they fit? THanks GUys

c/20 springs

Check out Classic Performance Products Inc. 1-800-522-5004 or there website is http:www.classicperform.com. They list dropped springs from 0 (I know thats not lowered) to 5", but they don't specify c-10 or c-20.They do list a 2 1/2" dropped spindle for the c-20 though and they also have a complete c-20 front disc brake dropped spindle setup also.Goodluck Jeremy

I dont have disk braks yet otherwise id go with spindles. I just wanna know if the C/10s will fit basically. I just dont know if the C/20 had a bigger spring or not.

I'm going to use Early Classic Enterprises (www.earlyclassic.com)to get my conversion kits for lowering my C20. So far their parts are impressive. They basically have the same thing as what was stated in an earlier post.

c/20 dropped springs

CPP does not say one way or the other on the front but i went back and looked at the catalog again and they have two different rear springs. a standard drop and a heavy duty drop spring which i imagine would be for 3/4 ton?dont know.

I would strongly recommend that you not drop the front of your truck 3" with a spring only. You will loose all ride quality and will never get the truck aligned. Very bad way to go IMO. I would wait and do the spindle/brake switch before just dropping the spring.

I would also assume if you have a small block you could by the heavier spring designed for C-10's with big blocks and it would suffice. Of course, this is assuming you have a small block and don't load the truck down with a lot of weight.
