So did you draw the short straw at work to have to come here?
Not much here in Stockton for our trucks. Just north about 45 miles is Sacramento. I am sure they have a lot more. South about a 2 hour drive is ECE. It is always fun to go there and spend money!

I just moved to the area and am trying to find out where parts can be found myself. I'm interested to know what ECE is.

Three words, PICK AND PULL
With locations thruout northern california, serving up the freshest in used automobile parts.... Here is a couple of hints..Stockton pick and pull has the biggest selection of trucks of all of the yards. Fridays are the days to go, that is when they normally rotate out a row or two of the trucks. I usually see at least 6 67-72's there. Rancho cordova, east sac, and modesto are all within spitting range.

Whenever I go there the trucks they have there are usally so stripped of all the desirable parts I have given up on them. Before they pull them out to the yard the are pulling all the good parts off! Guess maybe I should try again. Havent been there in awhile.

I was gonna say go out to Modesto and Antioch. You should try to buy a complete truck. They can be found in the newspaper, used car lots, and Locator Weeklies.

You have to go every friday around noon-ish and wait just like the rest of the vultures. People wait on the trucks, and start strippin them the minute they put them on the ground. The mangager (ron) is pretty cool. Ask to talk to him, and ask when the trucks are scheduled to be rotated.
