looks good. Are you going to shave down those upper tabs? I have clearance problems with those if I try to bolt up some chrome valve covers.

Re: What I did today...pics
Looks like your engine mount frame stands are installed wrong. They should set on top of the frame rail, not underneath it.

67fleet, thanks, no I'm going with the stock looking valve covers, so hopefully it won't interfere.
Tx Firefighter, the factory assembly manual shows them like that. Are you sure mine are wrong? Thanks, Jeff.

Re: What I did today...pics
Those look good. Just curious why you went with 2" rather than 2.5"?

Re: What I did today...pics
N2TRUX, I didn't know there were different sizes of factory manifolds. I just ordered the size that fit. Will it make a big difference? Thanks, Jeff.

Re: What I did today...pics
Yes, the mounts should set atop the framerails. That way ,the rails support the mount and engine weight. The way you have them, the two 3/8 bolts are in tension and carrying the whole weight of the engine by hanging under the framerail.
If your bolts failed, the mounts would fall and allow the engine to drop. If they were atop the rails like they should be, you could basically remove the bolts and the engine would still be supported ( though it would move around side to side without the bolts installed)

Re: What I did today...pics
Well, I'm glad you noticed them now, instead of me finding out down the road with broken bolts. Thanks, Jeff.

Re: What I did today...pics
That has to be a different style of mount. The standard 2wd small block mounts are impossible to mount under the upper frame rail without some significant modification.
Beat me to it...LOL! It should not be a problem...unless there is an alignment issue.

Re: What I did today...pics
I am guessing it is a 4X4 and yes it is correct. We should be careful about casting our opinion about without first getting the just of the situation. I just walked out and looked at my two 4X4's and the mounts are under the framerail. So if the truck if 4X4 then its correct if 2wd then it needs to be swapped
