What did you get done this weekend?
I can FINALLY contribute to this. I got my "new" seats out of a 93 silverado (dark grey and tan) from Palf70Step and I spent several hours cleaning them with a steam cleaner. I was only able to complete the drivers side though. I hope to finish them tonight and I can post pics tomorrow. I'll be heading to Columbia this weekend (where my truck has been hibernating) with a bed load of goodies. I'll have the new seats, a blazer tank kit, dash pad, new loker shifter (I "gave" the one that was in my truck to my uncle...ok, so I owed him some money ) a really nice used interior mirror and a hell of a lot of ambition. If I get fired up it's possible all of those parts could be installed in a weekend, highly unlikely, but possible. If my Christmas bonus is as nice as it was last year, I will be getting a bowtie overdrives tranny and a bunch of goodies from them ealry in January.

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
Degreased my Pops' 69'. This is gonna need a second attempt. Tightened up the rear bumper bolts, check the belts and stuff before the trip home to her new home.
Removed, cleaned, reinstalled the fuel injectors on my GF's Ranger. Opened the box and stared at my new headers for the 69' Camaro for a while. -Rudi-

Re: What did you get done this weekend?
I was able to get my factory tach working as well as one of my fuel guages (three trucks to work on 67 swb, 67 swb 4X4, and a 72 Blazer) I also swapped the driver's and passenger's seat so I could sit and shift without falling out of my seat (drivers eat is shot). The passenger's seat was like new so I swapped brackets and now I have the new seat to sit in and pilot the beast. Now I need to get the crap out of the bed of the 67 so I can drive it and get a motor and trans in the swb 4X4 truck, but that may take more than a weekend!!

Nothing too exciting, no new parts this week for me. I did get my new little workshop somewhat organized. Some parts still sitting in the cab for lack of shelf space

Washed, vacuumed and banished my blazer to it's winter solitude.
Decided to put it away topless this year, cleaned it all up and pulled the cover on. |

New rubber on the hard top, removed the soft top for the winter and put the hard top back on.

Zero truck stuff. Volunteered at a Jr. pheasant hunt both days. Then went to haunted houses with the family both evenings. Great weekend!
