any one have pic's of home brewed ProStreet set-up's?
I am prostreeting my 68/70 C10 short step and I bought the S&W backhalf frame rails but they seem a tad thin walled for my taste.

So I really studied the factory set -up and figured why not just use this same set-up but just narrowed to about 20-23" wide fabricating new lower arms and frame rails out of say 3/16 wall rectangular tubing.

I have the tools to do such a job but was wondering if anyone has already done the engineering on this type of suspension?

Any input would be appreciated.

I'd be interested in the S&W frame rails

trailing arms are the only way to go! You can put a huge tire under these trucks without messing with the frame just some tubs in the bed!
