Bolt-on four link cantilever

I am looking to do a four link for the rear of my 79 blazer. For easy install I am wanting to do a KP cantilever four link. Anybody have any info or links to prior threads? Also I dont fully understand how this system can give up to 12 inches of travel vertical and still have to use a panhard bar. Wouldn't this give you too much side travel with the rearend, resulting in tire rubbing at some point. Any help appreciated. jesse

Re: Bolt-on four link cantilever

The KP will shift the axle about 1/2-1" or more because of the amount of lift from the kit. If you set up the kit to be centered at ride height you won't have to worry about rubbing as long as you compensate with your wheel/tire combo for the amount of shifting.
