super t-10 swap

I'm taking out the TH-350 and putting in a super t-10. Is there a good way to bring the shifter up through the floor? Just measure and cut out a hole? Or is there a better way to do this?

I would like to make a nice clean install.

Re: super t-10 swap

...when i did mine..i put the tranny in as far as i could with a jack to get a round about placement...then cut a small hole just to start the shifter up through..then trimmed from there..........

Re: super t-10 swap

Did you use the hurst comp+ shifter for trucks? Or something else? Also - did you have to shorten the driveshaft? Lastly, any pics?

thanks-
