Re: Radio Installation
No way to take the dash out without emptying everthing in the dash.
Here how you do it if it is an AC truck: 1-buy two cases of beer. 2-sent the kids two doors down the street. 3 -line up your 1st aid supplies 4-decide it is to much of a job--drink a couple of cold ones and then call a radio installation shop.

Re: Radio Installation
It also helps to take out the ashtray and holder so that the radio can drop straight down. Be careful as you drop it down and out and don't scratch the front facing. I pulled mine out a couple times (replacing the speaker) and ended up with a few small scratches on the face. May be a good idea to put tape across the front of the radio just to be safe.

Re: Radio Installation
take out all the A/C compontents....and put them in box....pull the radio, which it will come out very easily after this. Then decide its too much trouble to re-install the A/C stuff and since it's in a box, ship it to me :-)

Re: Radio Installation
I think taking out the glove box liner will give you just enough room to get it out. All the wires will need unpluged first. Then pull the knobs take out the radio and reinstall the knobs. Looking for the things for months really sucks!
