Question Dana 60 posi/lockers

What are you guys using in your Dana 60 to eliminate the one wheel squeal? I know you can get Detroits for them but $600 is a bit out of the budget. I don't think welding the spiders is a good thing to do on a daily driver so i'm trying to figure out a different method. Thanks.

Re: Dana 60 posi/lockers

spicer still makes either the power lock or trac lock for the 60....ur cheepest place would be a bigger 4x4 outlet place...and/or used.....just make sure the axle spline count is the same as what you have...

My D60 still has the factory trac lock. There are said to be great units. I would suggest Eaton for a replacment. Try Ebay.

I don't know if you can still get new trak-locks, but the new power-lock are almost as expensive as the Detroits. there are also lock-rights, which are a lunchbox locker.

Yah the maximum traction power-lok option was available. I have one here.
