Rear Swaybar ?
I HAVE A 67 AND I NOTICED MY 69 AND 72 HAS A STRAIGHT SWAYBAR AND MY
67 HAS A CURVED.IS THIS RIGHT OR HAS IT GOT BENT. thanks |

I think you mean the tracking arm. And they should be straight.

The Panhard bar bar is the one that connects the rear axle assembly to the frame and keeps the axle from shifting left and right. It should not be bent as this will throw off your alignment and tracking. When lowering or raising a 2wd vehicle, you may have to convert to an adjustable bar. This is a rear coil spring design only.
If you look under a NASCAR vehicle, their rear suspension looks very similar to our coil sprung trucks. |
