What do you think?

I'm new to this board fyi. I'm picking up a 70' c10 with the origional motor.. 30 over 350 4 blt., new cam, new heads, new headers, stock 3.73 diff right??, new clutch on the 3spd...my questions is, (as hard as it is to guess) what should my hp and torque range be and what should my top speed be. My guesses are apprx. 350 hp and 325 lb/ft of toque.. I imagine my top speed would be something like 100 mph at 6200 rpm. What do yall think?? Thanx...

Re: What do you think?

I got a 71 with a stock 350 with a Edelbrock Performer manfold and a 670 Holly Street Dominator and it don't make anywhere near 300HP. I've had it over 100 MPH easily.

Re: What do you think?

I had my stepside well over a hundred on a couple of occasions. It's a 350 bored .060, edelbrock 750 and manifold, headers. Has Turbo 350 trany and running 4.11 gears. Never dynoed it, but I would venture to say it's between 300 to 350hp. Welcome to the board!

Re: What do you think?

I'd guess around 300-320 depending on the heads and the cam. They can make alot of difference. hehe but you know thats what I said, Welcome to the board man.
