70 c/10 on 72 frame

I bought a 72 swb c/10 for 500.00 tagged and running. The body panels are beat up. I bought another one for 300.00 a 70 LWB step side. The fenders are in great shape as well as the hood. The cab needs some work but not as much as the 72.

So.... Finally to my Question. Am I going to have any problems mounting the 70cab and fenders on the 72 frame.

It should be a direct swap. I would suggest painting the frame while you have it accessible though. New cab and core support mounts would be a good idea as well.

Are they both C/10? if so, no problem.
If one is a C/20, then you'll need to keep the cab mounts from the frame that you are going to use.

They are both c/10's. I have the cab completly guted. I'm ready to start on the cab cornersrocker panels etc..... I'm really new to the body work thing but i'm going to give her a whirl. I'm a welder by trade and I have a lot of common sence and guys like u that will make my question easy to answer

For the frame I've stiped her down too. I sand blasted it and it looks brand new there was a bent cross member in the very back. Aparently someone wraped a chain around the member and bent it pretty good. The frame looks straight it has a slite gradual twist behind the rear spring hanger bracket. It does'nt look like it will be a problem to fix.

I've also bought an LS-1 out of a '99 ss Camaro that will be sweet when I get this puzzle together. I fell in love with the 67-72 chevy trucks in the mid 80's when I was old enough to drive. Never owned one until now. I am pumped up about this project.
