Harmonic Balancers
has anyone swap a 350 harmonic balancer on a 283 will it work? thanks

Yes, it will work. I would recommend one with fluid. Bought the Streetdamper myself.

Timing marks will be different. They changed with the 69 SBC. What I can't remember is the difference. You could use a timing tape or remark the newer one. Thing to do would be to set the engine to TDC, swap balancers, and mark the new one.

ok thanks im going to try to get one from a 283 in the junk maybe that one is good.
