The threshold plate is sold by LMC (on their last page) and price might be about the same after shipping. If that is the case I usually go with the known vendor over E-Bay, at least its easier to return if it doesn't work for ya.

At least his feedback speaks well of him and product. Now he just needs to make the forth piece to make the firewall look whole again and he'll have a winning kit.
Here's a quick shot of mine as it sits right now....not perfect, but better looking than the stock heater box.

now your talkin! it's a bit of work but man it makes a difference. that single peice of steel with the rolled edge to match the one on the truck is worth some conciderable $$$$$ to me.

I'd like to do something like this, but I need to keep the heater. Are you guys ditching yours completely?

I bought a set of these for my truck and they fit PERFECTLY when I did a test fit. Never got to actually install them though.

I installing a Classic Auto Air - Hot Rod series heat/ac unit. But there's also: Old Air Products, Hot Rod Air, Vintage Auto Air, and one or two that I can't think of. You might try contacting them to see what they offer in a heat only package for under the dash.

Re: Evil Bay - Heat - A/C Delete Kit

yea i'm doing the same with mine. heat will hide under the dash but no a/c. that's what 2-80 is for. i'll likely be making a custom heater control box.
