I'm going to send her out & see if she can find any more like her...maybe one of those short bed trucks like seen in the background on a couple of these pics. I'll let you know how she does!

I think you got ahellofa nice looking work truck there,my you'll have to paint the dolly to mach the truck.LOL!!
I like the flatbeds,got one on the 86 comes in real handy.

that is a sweet flatbed. i like it better with the mirrors and rails and hoist. makes it look tough. i notice that you live pretty close to me. how much for a set of those rally rims you have in the background??

Good lookin' rig man! Those rally's do look interesting. And by the way, the valve covers are fantastic, thanks again for everything! Of course now, I have to make the rest of the engine compartment look as good as they do! Already got a lot of it done, thanks for the inspiration! Good luck on the hunt!

Barn9: Glad you like those late model BB valve covers. I like these late model ralleys because they don't cost much, and they look good on the old 3/4T trucks. Notice the deeper caps on the rear---dually. I sell a ton of these wheels/caps/rings for $150 a set. The only possible complaint is they are only 6.5-7" wide...but that runs a 265-75-16 just perfect...like all of the new trucks.

Where did you get your bed built at? And is it a wallet vacuum to build? Any info would be appreicated.

It is some kind of commercially built bed. Notice the Datsun tail lights. It was on a local Datsun dealer's shop truck...neighbor bought the truck...rolled it...the bed sat in his pasture for years rotting away. I bought, blasted, painted, redecked (1-3/8 plywood). The Datsun TL are really good...two TL bulbs & two brake light bulbs, plus the BU all in each housing. They sit out wide on the ends, so they are still seen when you have a truck being towed behind it...very safe!

PICKMUP, Thanks for the reply. I don't think Datsun made a 12 ft bed. I guess I will try some of the commercial truck shops around here for a used bed.
Your bed does look really nice.

I am close to a big Army & Air Force base & I see a lot of these same type beds with racks on the military trucks. They should come up for auction at the disposal yards, but you would have to buy a whole truck.

Sounds good but my wife said I can have as many cars and trucks as I want but I have to keep them all inside. I now have 10, any more and I will have to do some creative stacking. LOL!
