WTB: 72 style gas pedal & cable

Anybody have a spare 72 style gas pedal and cable they can part with? If there are different lengths, I would like the longer one. I can Paypal, shipping to 29730. Thanks, Greg

I got quite a few of them out there, I think they all have the shorter 2wd cable on them though.

teeitup, which has the longer cable? I plan on moving my engine forward to install a 700r4 and maybe a BB in the 67 4wd. Greg

Re: WTB: 72 style gas pedal & cable

Greg, I think the 4x4's have the longer ones but not a 100% sure. The vendors sell new cables to make sure you get the right one. Thanks Randy

I'm interested also. I'm going to be needing one soon for my swap/setup also.

Re: WTB: 72 style gas pedal & cable

go to an autozone and look at a throttle cable for a 84 or so 1500 truck, i think it will fit perfectly for what you are trying to do. there may be some extra plastic on the throttle cable fitting that goes thru the firewall, but can be trimmed easily with an exacto knife. Will also require cutting a "slit" into the round hole at the end of the pedal linkage to fit the new style cable. Other than that, its a snap.
