Thanks for asking.

That is cool. I am going back to school myself. I did the tech school thing first. I don't really want a different job, I just wanted to increase my options if I ever did want to change fields.

Re: What did you get done?

I did manage to remove the top bellhouse bolts on engine swap. Hopefully this weekend I'll actually remove the old motor and get to finish cleaning up under the hood. This is my first swap so things are going slow but steady. I am snapping pics and as soon as I get some down loaded on my computer I'll post a few of the progress.

Re: What did you get done?

I have great news!!! I just saved a ton on my car insurance by switching to Geico!!!! No.... Seriously.. I latterly switched to Geico this weekend after shopping for auto insurance after being dissed !! but Concord (Mercury). They cut my coverage after a year of loyalty and one laps. The payment fell on a odd day and caused me 4 of there consider late payments. They wanted $322 to start up again and $250 a month. So I took the 0!!

I spent all weekend hunting for coverage and Geico came in at the 11th hour with a online quote for $188 down and $141 a month. I was paying $170 and just got it down to $160 after taking DF driving. That’s for 2 full coverage Kia’s and my 87 beater. Other than that…. I spent time getting smacked in the head by my soon to be 1 yr old son.

Cool Re: What did you get done?

Installed my headers and dual exhaust.

MMMMmmmmmm, DUALS!!!

Been about 25 years since I've run duals & headers, In a word WOW!! Seat-O-Pants Dyno suggests about 30-40 more HP and lots of torque! And, I'm digging the sound!

My arms look like I went 3 rounds with a Bobcat and I discovered my front drive shaft slip joint splines are shot. But, Gotta Love Duals!!

Thumbs up Re: What did you get done?

Spent the weekend working the following vehicles,

Did a disc brake job on a fuel tanker trailer full of VP Racing fuel 9700 Gallons of it on Sat. going to an offshore race boat race in the Fla. key's on sunday.

Did a tune up on a friends I6 jeep cherokee and fixed the LR window regulator and cleared some DTC'S.

Changed a fuel guage in the red '61 belair new guage didn't help

Also stuffed the 700R4 back in the '56 on the lift and installed a new lokar shift indicator in the cabin.

And i got to take my buddy's '66 Elki for a spin
