spark plug question
A colder plug will make more power but have a better chance of fouling correct?

This is one of those it depends on a lot of factors answers. A hotter spark will burn everything and is sometimes needed. If your plugs are that nice brownish color replace them with the same plug. If you have wet plugs or a little oil a hotter plug may help, but be aware there is something else up. There is also a need for hottor plugs to burn Nitrous, etc, etc. |

Re: spark plug question
I emailed ngk my motor specs and they recommended I use one step colder than stock in my motor. Just wondering if this will make more power or be more of a hassle?

Re: spark plug question
Last trip into the local speed shop, they knocked me back a number or 2 on the plugs......yes it does make more power, as long as they arent too cold(then they foul ). I havent had any troubles with the colder plugs, but its "experimental". just dont spend the bucks on platinums, till you get the heat range sorted out best of luck, crazyL
