Rear sway bar: even worth it?

In the process of working on the suspension(still, ugh) and was kinda considering a rear sway bar. Will it make enough of a difference for all the trouble? The only ones I've seen are around $200 from LMC and that's pretty steep for something I'm not sure's gonna make much of a difference. Did any Chevys/GMC come with rear sway bars that I might be able to find at a junk yard? Is it even worth the trouble?

somebody had done one with a later model camaro( everything after 1970 is late model to me ) rear sway bay. There was a complete write up on it here with pics and everything. Looked sharper than hell. Probably next year I'll do the same to mine. I have to drive up a pretty treacherous hill every day with several sharp turns in it and doing it slow isnt really an option . There is a reason for that actually.

I saw the post about the camaro swaybar, and though I haven't put it on, I did go and buy one and it was only like $17 from pick & pull. They actually had about 15 more that I saw. If you get one though, the one from the IROC (what I got) is a lot thicker than the normal ones.
