I am thinking of making my own drop 3" drop blocks to run after I do my front disk brake swap with the drop spindles. What size square tubing should I use? I am going to box it in and all that so I know it will be strong.

Thick wall tubing. At least .125 inch thickness is what I use.

By the way, the 3 inch block is going to make your u-bolts hang way below the scrub line. I don't know whether that bothers you or not.

I'll have to look closer at it. I only use it from to and from school and work. And it will only be till I can get my rear springs. Maybe I will jsut go with some 2" or 2 1/2". So would it be 2"x3" square tubing to get a 2" drop?

Here's a set I made awhile back out of 2x3 tubing.

Notice how low the u-bolt hangs below the wheel rim. And, those are 17 inch wheels. If the truck still had 15 inch wheels, it would be even worse.
