Disk brake drag
The other day I had my wheel off, and spun the rotor. I know disks brakes will drag a little all the time, but this is what I considered too much. Anyone have ideas on how to fix this? I'm thinking if I can fix this, I can pickup some mileage and the truck will feel a little quicker.

check the sliders on the calapers first. remove them wire wheel grease and reinstall. all it cost is time wheris calipers cost $$$.

You might want to check to see if the sliders are slightly bent. This would cause them to stick. I think you can pick new ones for fairly cheap. Good luck with your Brakes.

Better mileage and cooler bearings.Not to mention you`ll save the rotors.Try lubing the sliders first.Then go get a caliper if they don`t free up.

When the wheel is off, you have so little leverage that it seems way too tight.
Jack it up and see if the wheel spins OK. |

Second all above. You can get a brake kit for them with new bolts and bushings and that will help the calipers slide right. Jeff.
