transfer case adapter question

Hey Guys
Its been a while since I messed with these older chevy trannys. I have a 79 chevy here with a 400 auto and full time case. The tranny is bad. I have a rebuilt 350 turbo that I want to put in it what do I need to find as far as a transfer case adapter?
Thanks Don

Re: transfer case adapter question

You'll need a TH350 to NP203 adapter. Really common so the cost at a bone yard won't be much. You might also call offroad design at 970-945-7777...stephen has lots of them i believe since a key ingrediant to his doubler is the forward section of a NP203. His web site should also have pictures of what your after.

Re: transfer case adapter question

Need to change the input gear too. 350 is 27 spline, 400 is 32.

Re: transfer case adapter question

If going thru all the changes, now would be a good time to upgrade the t-case to a 205.
