Check out my new wheel

Picked this up from a friend of a friend ...found it in his shop in a pile . its in great shape .. small amount of rust pitting ... need to clean it up alittle .. then it going on the 71 ....

Best part !!!... I Got It For $20 ....

How old do you think it is ..... i checked ebay and wasn't able to find this particular spoke design .....

great score....ummm....i mean you paid too much, but I will help you cut your losses and buy it from you for $21.... I have been looking for a wheel similar to that for my 70......please post pics when you are done with the installation, would like to see how it looks.

Nice! Looks alot like the Grant wooden wheel, but the spoke design is different/better. Nice find!

Nice looking wheel I have never seen them with the 2 slots cut in them just the one slot... L.M.C. has steering wheels similar to that in the front of there catalog..

It looks like a Cal Custom wheel from the late 60/early 70 era. Used to see
them for sale at Pep Boy's many, many years ago.

I have one of those Rosewood wheels on the wall in my garage......I think it was originally on a 67 SS 396 chevelle......I have all the horn pcs(Vette cap with the checkered flags) aftermarket. It was to go on my longhorn.......but I just caint get with "tossin" that much steer wheel when I am trying to have fun! Its hard to beleive thats worth 400-500 bucks now! THAT WAS A FREE WHEEL, with 50 bucks worth of pcs not for sale @ any price......I am gonna sit on her for another 10 yrs or so....(call it greed, or retirement!)..... L
