That is bad to the bone! I'm thinking of doing the same with a red top and dark grey bottom.. personally I like the 67 68s w roll pans and the later with bumpers.. but thats just me.

I don't think the 67 and 68's look right with painted bumpers if they have the bright molding on the grill and headlight bezels...it makes it look like a parts truck. If the whole nose is painted...that's another story. my .02

I already had the bumper but the chrome was peeling off of it, so rather than leaving the crappy looking chrome on there....i just painted over it until i can get new or better ones.

Well the pics are not working for me but I would go with front and rear chrome bumpers or front chrome bumper and a rear roll pan.

Actually it's just flat black spray paint from wal-mart and flat gray

Wasn't raggin on the ride, Toot. It looks good.

I've seen a couple panned 67's with the bright grill and headlight trim and it looked good too. I like the look where the pan and the whole body is painted flat black primer and the old school painted rims with whitewalls ride tucked under the wheelwells. Sometimes with beauty rings

I saw a primered short-bed like that with pinstriped flames that made me think how cool a simple rod can be... a primered bumper would have worked on that truck too. Your ride looks like it'll be a unique rod as well.
