Talking Score!!!

Well, I was out at the wreckers today, and I almost died on the spot!! These jackarses usually don't have anything out there in the 67-72 range of GMC or Chev P/Us, and if they do, it's usually so demolished that it's not even worth the time and effort! Like I said in an earlier post, it's easier finding hen teeth out there!

Well, I'll be damned, what's the first thing I see when I enter the yard? A 1969 GMC 910!! Fresh meat too! (unbutchered) I keep moving along, and I run into:

1971 Chev C20
1972 Chev C30
1967 Chev C10
1963 GMC 910 (a little out of our 67-72 years but hey!)
1969 Chev C20

I couldn't believe it!! I tried to muster up enough pee to coat the vehicles (marking territory) but I failed in the end!

I did get an unblemished back window though, out of the 72 C30. Now I have to get cracking on replacing the window! (bad choice of words eh?)(hopefully not literally "cracking", haha)

To all the Kelowna guys, if you need parts, get moving!! ( Kelowna Pick your Parts)

I'd also like to thank the guys on the board that offered to give me a window, or sell me one really cheap. Thanks for the offer guys, that's what makes this board great!

Hey Joe, glad you found your window. Pick a parts are great for prices but you have to have good timing or it's stripped in a couple of days. Must be alot of old iron still around out there due to the dry climate. I went through Montana, Idaho and Washington about 10 years ago and couldn't believe all the old stuff still on the road. Drooled all the way back home.

Hey Joe, would the C30 happen to have a factory tach? If so, I would jump on it...

You can wish in one hand and crap in the other.
See which one gets filled first.
