tach problem
my dad has a 79 chevy thats all orginal with the factory tach that came with the truck. well the other day he said when he was tryin to crank it the tach went pass the 50 mark on the tach and when the motor fired up it went back to 10. the other day i moved it and know its stuck at 15 and i have no idea whats wrong with it is it fried or that reistor messed up? any help

somebody send him the link to BIGBLOCK73's website with all the tach info. It isn't going to help him fix it but will give him some insight.
It costs $125 & up to get a tach repaired. DAVE
