The decision's for the 54 panel truck

Haven't posted in here in a while so, I thought I would say something just to say "Howdy" and let ya'll know that the panel project is still very much alive...just domant for the holidays.

I’ve all but made the final decisions on the project. Sounds indecisive, huh? About the only thing I haven’t committed to is the engine. I like the specs, the build and the price of the engine but, I sure would like to have a local shop put one together for me. IF, they could hit the right price. I’m going to take the specs of the Speed O Matic build to Owens Race Engines in Pearland, TX to see if they can compete.

• The IFS: Fat Man Fabrications
• The Engine: Speed O Matic (350 4 bolt/450 HP)
• The Tranny: TCI Street Fighter (GM TH-700R4)
• The Rear: Ford 9-inch (local shop will rebuild)
• Rear suspension: Competition Engineering 4-link

If things work out, the ordering starts at the beginning of January!!!

3100,

For around $3500 you can buy a 05 5.3/4l60e with less than 100 miles on it. It will come with all accessories and the factory wiring harness. Call Jeremy at (800) 462-9292 ext 206. Tell him Rob from Pensacola told you to call.
