fyi, my 69 sub has no letters in the grille. they are mounted to the hood.

Just thought I would give a heads up.

The only thing that should be on your hood is the Chevy logo. (Blue) The black letters should be on your grill. Reproductions do not have the letters on the grill. OE does.

I think it is different for the GMC grille.

Nope it is a Chevrolet. Also, there are some of the repo grilles with both lettered and non lettered. I was at The Truck Shop and they had both, VERY cheaply made, but they had both. I have already gotten one from jc so I do not need one anymore.

cojnit...I am in Mission Viejo. Yours has the lettering on the hood. I thought only 67-68 had that, unless maybe it is an early 69

...Who knows. Mine does not have the letters on the hood though.
