Bucket seat bracket questions - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have been cleaning and organizing my barn which i have full of truck parts. Due to hurricane rita. I think ROD has this info. I have 3 different heights of these brackets for the drivers seat. They are all built the same. I have the tallest pair marked 76 blazer, I thinks that is what they came out of. The shortest pair is for the drivers seat (69-72), i think. Any help will be appreciate.

I just went out and took a pair of 72 bucket seat brackets off the shelf. It looks like they are about 7 5/8" at the tallest . Let me know if this isn't the measurement you needed

There 1.5 inch difference between a 72 year and down style bracket compared to a 73 up bracket. The 73 and up being taller height. If I Recall Correctly (IIRC) it is the bottom section that 1 inch taller and the rivet top portion is .5 inch taller on the 73 up.
