Part # for Extended Brake Lines??
Does anybody know the part numbers that I would use to extend from the front hard lines out to the calipers on a 4" lifted 1971/72 K20?? I need to extend the rear center flex line also? I hate to spend the big bucks on the stainless lines if I can do this with 'off the shelf' OEM hoses. Any help on this would be great!
Thanks, 72longbed |

Re: Part # for Extended Brake Lines??
PM Dean. I had the P/Ns but can't find them. The lines are about 5" longer than stock and have the correct fittings on both ends.

Re: Part # for Extended Brake Lines??
I`d like this info, too.I have been buying the braided s/s hoses. They`re kinda long on a 4" lift. They want to rub the tire.I think they`ll be better on the 6" lift going on my Highlander.

Re: Part # for Extended Brake Lines??
They are OEM looking, black not braided stainless. Dean put them on his 72s, I put them on my 71. Got them from autozone for about $55 (all 3 lines).

Re: Part # for Extended Brake Lines??
One of my buddy’s used rubber OEM brakes lines for his 4” lifted 1975 Blazer from a 1997 3500-HD truck. I used the steel braded Superlift brake lines from 4 Wheel Parts pn SUP3095-6. Either way they get the job done but the brake pedal feels much more firm with the steel braded lines apposed to rubber.
