87 Front Suspension ?

Will the complete front suspension from a 1987 2wd Suburban fit on our 1/2trucks? I have a lead on a complete burb., but I don't know if it is a 3/4T or 1/2T. Would that also matter?

Re: 87 Front Suspension ?

Yes, Suburban suspension all the way up through 91 will swap into earlier trucks. They are held in by 14 bolts on the crossmember. Twelve of the holes line up exactly, the other two are close enough to only need slight egging of the holes to line up.

if it is 3/4 ton and your rig is 1/2 ton, it'll be next to worthless to you.
Count the lugs to dertermine... 5 for 1/2 ton and 8 for 3/4 ton.
