Burb patch panels

A while back there was a thread about some burb quarter panels that someone wanted to ship overseas to make more of them. I was wondering if this ever went any further than just talking. Anyone remeber this?

They were too valuable to the owner for him to allow them to be shipped off to a foreign country and him not have them for a year or so.

That topic was back in March/April of this year. I am the guy that has a set of NOS suburban quarters. I would like to be part of getting all burb owners the patch panels they deserve, BUT I won't give up control of something like these for up to a year while they are floating across the ocean to and from Tiawan. If there was a way to do this in the USA or Canada there would be far fewer problems. We certainly didn't ship all of our tool and die capabilities over-seas did we?

Until then I know people are looking for the right suburban that have perfect rear quarters to use as patterns. I for one, am hoping for them to be made too.
