Re: custom pedal

i got the larger one. there are 4 bolts allen bolts that you drill though the floor. then i drilled a larger hole for the rod in the center. I had to use washers on the top two bolts to tilt the pedal back further and alter the firewall a little because the top of the pedal hits it and you will only have 80 percenttthrottle. something like that unless you mount it really far back. but it was easy. make sure you also get the cable from lokar and also make sure your cable is not too long or it will be hard on the pedal and the mounts.. it took my acouple of hours to do because I had to have someone inside the cab will the allenwrench while i got under the truck to tighten then had to redo it cause thetop of the pedal hit the firewall a little. now i am very happy with it. worth the money if you ask me

Re: custom pedal

www.summittracing.com has the Lokar pedals that are shown. But, it's spread out in the catalog, and hard to know what all you need, if you haven't got a Lokar catalog.

The gas pedal is their "Eliminator" gas pedal, and comes with a ball-milled surface, or the rubber inserts. From Lokar, it's $141. From Summitt, it's $99. Lokar says you must use their 36" universal (cut to fit) cable. You'll probably need their bracket and spring ass'y. The brake pedal is another $29. I just got the gas pedal, brake pedal, their High Tech (braided stainless) accelerator cable and the s/s bracket and spring. I already had the TH400 electric kickdown, now gotta get it installed.

Summitt ships for free, too. I ordered mine, last Wednesday afternoon, and it was on my porch on Friday. Not too shabby, I must say.

Re: custom pedal

I also have the th400 kick down and the bracket one of the reasons I want to go to cable and new pedal love the kickdown and already have the bracket. let me know how your install goes I wondered if you would need one of there spacers or not.

also does the brake pedal bolt over ours or in place of ours and is this easy?
