Post Got more numbers, would like some more help

Ok guys here is the number i found above the Timing gear cover. It had V0310CKH and then right over top of those numbers it had stamped 17R452159. I dont know why they stamped the numbers right over top of each other makes it incredibly hard to read. Hopefully got all the numbers right. The numbers on the back of the block are 3970010.

ok according to that suffix, CKH it is a 350 from either 73 or 74 it is also a 4 barrel, am i reading that right????

0310 is march 10th V is the foundry plant the block was cast at

CKH is the suffix stamping code to look up, its a car block i can tell you that much without looking it up, hence the C

is not 180 hp, dunno where you got that info from,, it should be 2 bolt since is a car block

F body is maro etc, A body is chevelle, etc X body is nova etc

Jose got that number from that same website it is the number on the back of the block, the guy claims it came out of an el camino are those consider trucks or cars?

El Camino is an A body. It is basically a Chevelle.
