Arkansas Title--Notary ?

Bought a truck from a local board member who got it out of Arkansas. It has the title signed by the last registered owner but is not notarized. Is that a requirement for vehicle transfer in Arkansas? Every state is different!!

Re: Arkansas Title--Notary ?

You don't have to have them notarized in Arkansas, any more. Used to be, but not now. I was happy that the State did away with that requirement, especially if there is no lien.

Merry Christmas!
