Dash Question
Has Anyone Tried The Replacement Dash Caps That Are For Our Trucks From Lmc Or The Like. I Need To Replace Mine And The Oem One Is Pretty Expensive. How Do They Look, Fit, And Last.

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=180272 Are they "good", if you are NOT interested in a restoration piece. Their fit isn't perfect, in comparison to a GM original. The look fine for a replacement dash. I can post pics of the ones I have mounted if you want me to. BTW, I have them, and they are $200 + $20 shipping, but they aren't listed right now.

too bad you didn't have a 73-80... i got a new GM NOS pad from this guy on eBay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/73-80...spagenameZWDVW
when i got mine, he said that he got 100 or so from a dealer, when i got mine, (in like june!) he said he had like 56 left....

definetly! great guys... call them up on the phone!!! their # is on their auctions... a real nice piece... he claims original GM, but it didn't have any GM stickers on it.... quality is great tho! for the $$$

Try ebay.
I just looked and there's a nice used black 81-87 style oem dash pad for $110.00 ("Buy It Now" price). I bought mine at the local dealer for just over $200.00 about 6 months ago.
