Good deal ?

I just got a call from a friend of a friend and he said he has a motor for sale so I drive over and it's a "86" 350 with 76,000 miles on it never been rebuilt it's in a suburban 4x4 org. motor. We sarted it up sounds perfect. motor is complete with alt. pwr steering and a/c. Also its backed up with a 700R4 tranny included (shifts nice and smooth), all for $200.00. All I have to do is pull it. Is there anything I should know about these 350 motors? Is this a good deal ? I'll Probley sale the 700 tranny. I really don't need a motor but might make a good winter project. Are there any pros or cons to these motors ? Let me know what you think ...

Thanks,
WHYBYNU

For $200 I dont think there are any cons for a moter and a tranny. Dont even think twice just get it.

Don't see how you can go wrong. GM built some good lasting motors in the mid 80's. My sister-in-law had a pontic pressian with a 305 or 350. She put over 200K miles on it without any engine problems. For $200 man that's a steal! Not to memtion the tranny........
