I've got the same size wheels that you have. My tires are Dunlop SP Sport 9000's..... 285/40's in the rear..... and 255/45's up front. Here are some pics......

Im sorry everyone; but i just don't think that 18" rims fill up the fenderwells enough. I prefer 20s. But they're expensive. I would like to even go larger. Doesn't everyone have that dream of bigger, better, and shinyer? Sorry, try not to come down on me with too much verbal abuse, K?

15's are nice too. But they are just too massively produced. Everyone has the same kind of rim. But believe me, some 60 series tires or even 50 series tires look extremely nice:p But I like having something different. Plus I like looking at those huge brakes behind those 20's.

I was thinking of 18s also, but have pretty much decided on 20s. Although 18s do look really good, you almost have to run a higher profile tire to fill the rear fenderwell. Im pretty sure Ill get 2 20x10s and 2 20x8s. I actually wanted to run 19s in the front but the selection on 19" rims is pretty slim. I found a place w/ real good prices on the torq thrust rims( all 4 20s for $1600) but after seeing the new dished version of the Vintec from Billet Specialities I think I might just go ahead and spend the extra and get the rims that I think Ill be happier with in the long run. Assuming that it works, Ill attach some pics of mine now, 15x7s and 15x10s.

I'm going to be going for the hot rod look for my truck. I'm planning on 18x8 with 255/55/18 in front and 20x10 with 325/50/20 in the rear. The wheels will be American Racing CL-205S and the tires will be Nitto NT-404. The rear tires will be over 32" tall and 13" wide. I'm going to make them fit, no matter what it takes!! Hopefully I will have them on by the end of next year.

Low67C10: I was considering 20's also but didn't want such a low profile tire (I wanted to keep the truck as low as possible, but also wanted driveability with a taller sidewall). So 18's were my choice. I think mine fill the wheel wells pretty good. For those of you getting 20's, I'll be waiting for some pics!!!

Slammed, your truck looks real good, is it going to be a step or fleet?. Looking at yours almost makes me want to go 18" in the front. Right now Im still struggling w/ back spacing. I want to get the edge of the wheels as close to the outside of the wheelwell as possible. Id love to see a pic of your truck w/ the bed on, if it looks as good in the rear as it does in the front, Im getting 18s.

Me Again...

Thanks for the replies. Slammed 67 I am the guy who kept emailing you a while back about backspacing and everything. I finally got my 18x8 and 9.5 Billet GTX 02 wheels in and I somewhat like them. They put like 5.25" backspacing on them and I hope that they will fit okay!

Also I went and ordered those 285/40 Dunlop tires for the rear at !! $577 for two tires!! Three weeks later the company calls back and says that they are backordered until 10/31. Discounttiredirect.com lists them and says that the Ohio warehouse has them in stock! And you did say that I wouldn't notice a difference between the front tire and the rear tires, as far as the section height goes correct??

Thanks Man!!

--In case anyone was wanting any billet dash accessories, I am one of the partners who are selling these under the name Cutting Edge Components. I also work for Southern Kentucky Classics, who now have DELUXE MARKER LIGHTS AVAILABLE IN CLEAR lenses!!!
