Re: What did you get done? Christmas edition

I didn't get anything truck related done at all. I will be on vacation till the 3rd so I plan to get going again on the truck!! Santa brought a few goodies for me as well. Nothing to big but got a little cash and some Coolwater and Curve cologne. Happy holidays to all!!

Re: What did you get done? Christmas edition

Like Ken said I've been working on my new "project" during my Christmas break. I bought this truck back in March and have been collecting parts as the wallet allowed. This last week I got the frame boxed and C'ed, new axles, bearings and seals installed, modified the trailing arms for my bags and panhard bar. I sand blasted the rear frame clip to the cab and expoxied and painted it, installed all the Air Ride stuff.

I moved to the front and installed all new A-arms, bushings, ball joints, disk brakes, drop spindles. I cleaned the frame up the best I could before I painted it but I will more than likely re-do all that when I start working on the engine compartment. I still need to install the power steering stuff and plumb the brakes to get it rolling again without spilling it's guts on the floor

I got all the measurements for the wheels so they will be ordered on Tuesday and that should wipe out the bank account for a little while so the truck will have to wait on the under hood dress up but I can still drive it!

Pictures are not that great but as Ken or Scoti will tell you I never take pictures of my projects so this is better than nothing.

Yeah and he is giving you the short version on what all he has done to that truck in the past week. The list is very long considering the amount of time he has actually been working on it.

Personally I think it sucks because it's not mine...

Here's a couple more pics-
