Put a new carb on the truck Chirstmas Eve, runs a lot better, just need to get some small things sorted out. For Chirstmas, I mostly got stuff for the Vette I just got on Halloween day.

Re: What did you get done? Christmas edition

I worked Friday & got ready for X-mas on Saturday.
Even though I still had last minute gifts to pick-up & get wrapped on Sat, I got a chance to hang out w/an old long time friend who I haven't spent much time w/in the last few years. It's amazing how time flys by. But we caught up & I even helped fix his 01 MonteCarlo that a local radiator shop screwed up (they shorted something in the electrics when flushing his radiator??).

Sunday was spent opening gifts & visiting w/my GF's family. I got a nice e-mail w/some pics of n2billets latest transformer. I can't wait to see it later this week in person.

No work on the trucks but I did give the 74 a good long bath on Friday after work cause it reeeeeeeeeeally needed one. I've been riding around the last couple of days w/the oil pan & timing cover for the new(er) 350 I got from N2TRUX waiting for a chance to get them sanded down & get all the surface rust removed so I can prep them for paint. Hopefully I'll get that done today when I wrap things up @ work since it should be a slower paced day.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
