GM fan clutch source
Does anyone know of a source for GM fan clutches for a 69-72 truck with 350 4bbl and AC? Local GM dealer shows it as being discontinued. I bought one for a '79 Corvette but it has the larger 3/4" pilot rather than the 5/8" pilot the truck water pump has. I have not heard favorable comments on aftermarket clutches, and the first one DID last 30 years and 350k miles :-)

What's the price and how long have you been running it? I've heard that aftermarket fan clutches may only be good for 5 years or so and I consider that unacceptable. GM pisses me off when they discontinue stuff. So much for "keeping your GM vehicle all GM" like the ad used to say...

I just don't know if the spacing is different since ours are short water pumps. I guess I can carry the old one in and compare apples to apples...
