Re: lokar floor mount pedal

I am thinking of doing this also to get rid of that ugly throttle rod. Stacey David put one in Copperhead if you wanna try to look it up.

Re: lokar floor mount pedal

Custom Classic Truck magazine did an installation a couple years back. The pedal ass'y comes with a template to show you where to cut the hole, and the article says to place it where it feels right to you. There's four holes to be drilled, and the area to cut out is within the area surrounded by the mounting holes. Part of the pedal ass'y goes into the hole and the cable attaches to it.

Summit Racing sells it for $99. You can buy it from Lokar for $141.99. You'll need the 36-inch universal throttle cable and a bracket/spring ass'y, too. Summit sells 'em both, and ships for free. I'm waiting to install mine that I got a couple of weeks ago.
