Re: help on 4-wheel drive to 2 wheeler

i have a question to add to this....If I got a full IFS from like fatman fabs or something would it bolt up? could I take care of the rear with a 4 link and bags? Will a 73-87 suspension bolt up? sorry for stealing your thread, but i think its better than making a new one. and sorry i couldnt read through all the posts at this time(i have go run some errands right after i post this), im pretty sure some of my questions have been answered.

Re: help on 4-wheel drive to 2 wheeler

a 73-87 will fit but as far as 100% bolt in, it's not. some holes will need to be drilled. thwe blazer is not on th road yet. i started making good progress then 2 months ago we bought a house. i finally got the blazer in my garage but i haven't had more time to do anything. i had to run lines for 220 so i could plug in my welder, haven't hooked up the air compressor yet either and i still have a boatload of tools to bring home. i gotpics somewhere. i'll try to post them when i find them

would a 73-87 blazer frame work under a 72 body?

No. Wheelbase is off by 2 1/2 inches, and the frames make different curves to where it would be just about impossible to get the 69-72 body on that frame correctly without reconstruction of the floor.
